Privacy Policy

Crawlable (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Crawlable product listing monitoring service. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

Account data: Name, email address, and password hash when you register with email/password. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google.

Store & product data: Shopify store domain, product titles, SKUs, prices, images, and inventory levels synced from your Shopify store via the Admin API. This data is the core of the drift-detection service.

Channel credentials: Amazon, Google Merchant Center, and Meta Catalog API keys you provide are stored encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We never store them in plaintext.

Usage data: Page views, feature interactions, and error logs used to improve the product. We do not sell this data.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide the Crawlable service: detecting drift between your Shopify catalogue and your sales channels, sending alerts, and generating reports. We do not use your product data to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond the sub-processors listed below.

3. Sub-processors

Supabase (database & auth), Upstash (Redis job queues), Resend (transactional email), Dodo Payments (billing), and Vercel (hosting). Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

4. Data Retention

Drift event records are retained for 90 days after resolution, then archived or deleted. Audit logs are retained for 180 days. You may request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing privacy@crawlable.io.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. GDPR and CCPA rights apply where relevant. Contact privacy@crawlable.io for any requests.

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Third-party API credentials use envelope encryption with versioned key IDs. We are working toward SOC 2 Type II certification.
